In this review we have tested the Kanie Hedgehog 238M NGML Cooler and measured the temperature results with our test setup. Additionally you can listen to an embedded MP3 fan sound sample of the fan on the respective heatsink.

Mounting	+++ It’s easy to fit this fan without screwdriver or anything else.
Cooling results	+++ The hedgehog 238M also convinced with the very quiet NGML Papst fan at 42° C (46° C at 1,9 Vcore). Mounting the fan blowing to the heatsink give you nearly the same cooling result.
General impression	+++ After one or two minutes assmebly you get a very good heatsink with top cooling results. In combination with the very quiet NGML Papst fan you’ll get a nice HSF combination for highend socket CPU and if you’re using good case cooling you don’t notice the difference to much louder fans with higher rotation speed. This is a very heavy full copper version of Alpha PAL 6035 but it’s also more expensive. It’s also possible to use this fan for Intel FCPGA CPU and there’s also an english mounting guide included. This fan is also fit for using with Peltier Element !
