On the left side of the picture you can see the Icy Dock MB104U-1SMB EZ-Adapter with USB 3.2 Gen2 support and on the right side of the picture you can see the Icy Dock MB031U-1SMB USB 3.2 Gen1 EZ-Adapter, both with attached, included USB 3.2 cable.
Here you can see the Icy Dock MB104U-1SMB EZ-Adapter, where you can plug in a 2.5″ SATA SSD/HDD or optionally a M.2 SATA SSD or even a M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD. The drives can be plugged in without any tools and via hot-swap.
With the Icy Dock MB031U-1SMB EZ-Adapter you can also use a 2.5″ SATA SSD/HDD or M.2 SATA SSD, but not a M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD! For this, the case was equipped with a slide switch, which can be used to conveniently turn the EZ-adapter on and off.
Both EZ adapters feature a USB-C port and a blue activity LED that glows continuously when turned on and flashes depending on activity.
Overall, the two plug-and-play adapters are excellently manufactured and make a good impression.
