AOC Agon Pro AG276QZD2 Monitor Review

Layout, design and features …

The frameless design in simple elegance is interrupted in the front view by a slightly more angular leg and base. According to AOC, the latter was deliberately shortened slightly on the sides to provide more space on the table surface for PC peripherals. The further course of the test will show whether this leads to stability deficits. It should be noted that the surfaces on the front are highly reflective, as anti-reflective does not mean matt. The center of the screen therefore had to be processed for all images.

The following image demonstrates the extent of the reflections quite well.

The rear view shows a gray outlined area in the center with the connection point of the stand and some ventilation holes. This area also protrudes slightly as an angular element and the edges of the rear run towards it.

AOC recommends mounting it in a horizontal position inside the box. The connection to the stand mount snaps into place without any effort and appears somewhat more fragile than it actually is. The 5.2 kg net weight is handled without any problems.

Even the stand, which is slightly shortened at the sides, is in no way unstable and, due to the material, forms a solid contrast to the plastic cover around the stand.

Once all the components have been assembled, the monitor can be carefully lifted out. Even with a little pulling force, nothing falls apart. However, any fingerprints that are clearly visible on the black surface must be cleaned.

The connection options are quite accessible for a monitor and are positioned below the protruding centerpiece. As promised, HDMI and DP are represented several times. The USB hub connection is located on the right-hand edge. Whether this is really easier to reach than the front of the PC case and is therefore practical depends on the individual case.
