Conclusion and overall impression …
The Arctic BioniX fans can convince in the test and deliver a good performance. Mounted on a CPU cooler, the Arctic BioniX F140 was beaten by the opponent of Noctua, but it can keep its price against it. With the BioniX fans you get a lot of fans for your money.
We especially liked the balance between silent and maximum cooling performance: intelligently controlled, the BioniX fans can cool the PC very quietly in idle and office mode, counter normal load with moderate volume and, if necessary, give full throttle. If you let them, the Arctic BioniX fans can move a lot of air.
PWM-PST is an interesting feature which can be useful in one or the other situation.
As an accessory, Arctic could add silicone mounting material for decoupling, whereby the new 3-phase motors without decoupling already running very smoothly and accelerating uniformly.
