At the release of the first water cooler with RGB lighting, Arctic only offered models with 12cm fans. In the meantime, Arctic has expanded its range and offers the full spectrum of CPU water coolers with two or three 12 or 14cm, RGB or A-RGB illuminated fans. Arctic is now also including an LGA 1700 mounting kit for the latest 12th generation Intel Core CPUs with all Liquid Freezer II series coolers. Time for us to run the more powerful model with two 14cm fans and A-RGB lighting through our test course. And with a little luck, you can even win an Arctic LF II 280 A-RGB AIO after this review!
Of course, we have also uploaded a video with the great A-RGB effects on our YouTube channel. We present that and much more in the following review.

At the bottom of the package are still listed the product numbers for clear identification.
The water cooler is well packaged. However, less plastic could be used in terms of sustainability. The hoses cannot be scratched and do not need to be wrapped in plastic.
Let’s see what Arctic has packed …
This is included in the delivery package …
There we have the main actor, the completely preassembled water cooling system.
Arctic also includes a very extensive assortment of mounting accessories in the box. It includes countless screws, washers, sleeves, MX-5 thermal paste and a backplate for Intel 115x systems.
In addition, Arctic now even includes an LGA 1700 upgrade kit with the coolers. If you currently buy a Liquid Freezer 2 for your new Intel system of the 12th Core generation and receive an older set that does not include the LGA 1700 upgrade kit, you can request it from Arctic for free. This is a really exemplary service that the cooler manufacturer from Switzerland offers here. Other manufacturers sometimes charge about 8 Euros for sending an upgrade kit.
Next, we’ll look at the technical data in detail.
