Installation…
As expected, there were no problems installing the Arctic P12 Max fans in our test case thanks to the standard dimensions of 120 x 120 x 25mm. In case of any uncertainties, a look into the motherboard manual or the manual of the fans, which Arctic provides online, will help.
For the following Practical testing, we mount 3 pieces of P12 Max fans in the front of the Fractal Design North PC case on the 360mm radiator of the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 water cooling system, which cools a AMD Ryzen 5 7600X processor.
We used the mounting screws from the previously removed fans again for the P12 Max fans, since they are compatible with each other thanks to the identical fan thickness. The front fans of the Fractal North case are thankfully very easy to access, which is why the fan replacement was particularly quick and easy. Here we see the new P12 Max fans on the 360mm radiator of the Arctic Liquid Freezer II CPU water cooling installed in the front of the case with the fan grille removed.
Once the fan grille is reinstalled, you can barely see the black Arctic P12 Max fans.
