Arctic P12 fans we already know, for example, from the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 Rev. 2 review, the special thing about these Arctic P12 Slim PWM PST fans is that they only have a thickness of 15mm instead of 25mm. Here you can see very nice the new 120mm Arctic P12 Slim PWM PST fan.
On the moving rotor side, the air is sucked in via 7 rotor blades. According to Arctic, the fan blades are designed for high static pressure. By the way, the supply line is about 40cm long and features Arctic’s typical PWM Sharing Technology, PST for short, which allows you to operate other fans synchronously on this fan.
Here you can see the narrow fan in the side view.
And the fan is really only 15mm narrow.
Here you can see very nicely the corners of the fan frame, which are not buffered, because according to Arctic there is no need for rubber buffering thanks to the even force distribution.
So much for the theory, let’s now see how the fans can be installed in practice and what cooling performance they achieve.
