The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Taichi is ASRock’s top model and aims to offer customers only the best in every respect. Our following test report reveals the card’s real performance, volume and temperature!
Of course, we also overclocked the ASRock RX 9070 XT Taichi properly and always kept an eye on the 12V-2×6 (formerly 12VHPWR connector). You never know … but don’t worry, no fire extinguisher was needed 😉

The delivery of the ASRock RX 9070 XT Taichi …
The box is dark and simple, with only the Taichi logo and the description RX 9070 XT standing out. There is also a note on the left that the graphics card is delivered overclocked ex works.
On the back, ASRock tells us the key features of the Taichi custom design and that we get everything we need for ultra-fast gaming here, but we’ll check that out.
The card and accessories are securely wrapped in foam. Nothing happens, even during bumpy transportation. The anti-static film also protects against electrostatic charge and uncontrolled discharge.
When unpacking the ASRock RX 9070 XT Taichi, we immediately notice its impressive weight and good workmanship.
The graphics card comes with a printed quick start guide, so you don’t have to rely entirely on digital media for installation.
If you do not have an ATX 3.0 or PCIe 5.0 power supply that has the necessary 12VHPWR connector to power the graphics card, an adapter cable from 12VHPWR to 3x PCIe 8-pin is included in the scope of delivery.
To relieve the PCIe socket of the mainboard a little, there is also a variable support made of solid aluminum on top.
