Practical testing …
As always, we would like to point out that our audio test is a subjective impression.
Sound test in practice …
A mobile Bluetooth speaker is typically used with the smartphone and so we tested the Aukey Eclipse with the smartphone.
The coupling is smooth, fast and uncomplicated. The Eclipse never raised questions, so we didn’t actually need the manual.
The sound is really good for such a small speaker with its 2x10W and surprised us positively. The tuning is not bass-heavy, but neutral. This may not be the general trend, but it is honest and you can use the equalizer to adjust it to your own taste.
To get an impression of the sound of the Eclipse, we recorded a video on our OCinside YouTube channel comparing it with a XIAOMI A2 lite smartphone and a smaller XMI X-Mini portable speaker. Here the Eclipse can clearly convince with a fuller, more homogeneous sound.

Duration …
We were able to confirm the stated values in the test: The Eclipse is charged after approx. 4 hours (depending on the charger used, of course) and lasts fully charged for approx. 10 hours, which should be enough for a longer afternoon/evening at the lake or similar. The playing time is of course dependent on the selected volume.
