test setup and results …
This is what the finished test system looks like.
You might have suspected that the cooler would be used in a budget system, but the images had revealed something here in advance;) The test system consisted of the following high-end components:
Intel Core i7-7700K @ 5 GHz (4.5 GHz AVX) at 1.36V
ASUS ROG Maximus IX Code Mainboard with white painted shield
ASUS ROG Poseidon GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphiccard
2x 8GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4-3600 RAM
Creative Sound BlasterX AE-5 soundcard
The water cooling system consists of the following components:
Enermax NEOChanger @ 2500 rpm
2x 360mm Radiator
After an hour of Prime95 with the fan setting standard, we achieved a pretty good 80°C. Some will still remember our Phanteks Glacier C350i test, where we also achieved very similar scores with similar setup / overclocking. The Barrow LTYK3-04 does not have to hide here, but convinces with a solid cooling result on the heavily overclocked Intel 7700K CPU.
