Cooler Master MK770 Review

Layout, design and features …

In the grey version, there is still some color variation with lighter and darker keys. A separate palm rest is not included. There is a special Cooler Master key between Alt and Ctrl, which can be used to set the profiles of the roller and the LEDs, among other things. A piece of music can also be paused or continued in combination with the arrow keys.

Any duplicate button assignments were sometimes marked on the side if there was no more space for them on the top. They are switched in conjunction with the special button from Cooler Master.

The Kailh Box V2 switches are not an unknown solution, as Keychron also offers them. Compared to the first version, the typing feel should be significantly different, as the tactile feedback is stronger. The centerpiece is an extended, gold-plated spring.

On the rear side, there is a switch for connectivity and the USB-C port. The picture on the left also shows how the keyboard sets very unique external accents with additional edges.

The reel stands out a little with its purple color and offers 4 profiles. This allows you to adjust the volume, switch between music tracks, modify the LED brightness and change the LED mode.

The purple color is also used on the side, namely on the brand logo. With a wide indentation as a transition, the light gray top leads into a black base.

The color on the underside will hardly stand out, but there is definitely a reason to turn the keyboard around. Under one of the feet is the connector for the USB dongle, which cannot easily get lost.
