Setup and test results …
Now we come to the benchmark results. This time, the test results were carried out with an MSI MPG X670E Carbon WiFi motherboard. Microsoft Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is currently used as the operating system.
The following SSD benchmark software was used to check and compare the possible speed of the drive:
AS SSD Benchmark – Download
CrystalDiskMark – Download

The AS SSD benchmark values provide a very good indication of the maximum possible read and write speed, the speed for smaller files and their respective access times. Incidentally, 4K means that small 4K blocks are read or written and with the 4K 64Thrd this is simultaneously distributed over 64 threads. This allows the benchmark program to simulate a typical program start, for example.
The Crucial T705 2TB M.2 NVMe achieved 13310 points under Windows 11. The Crucial T700 2TB M.2 NVMe achieved 10479 points under Windows 11. In the Crucial P5 test we only achieved 5502 points and in the Crucial P5 Plus test we achieved 7683 points with a fast PCIe Gen4 x4 connection.

As was to be expected, extremely high sequential read and write speeds are possible with the 2000GB Crucial M.2 T705. The read speed was an incredible 14477 MB/s! When writing, the SSD also achieved an incredible value of 12648 MB/s.
In comparison, the Crucial T700 PCIe Gen5 SSD with 1TB had a read performance of 11652 MB/s and a write performance of 9606 MB/s. The T700 2TB PCIe Gen5 SSD with cooler had a read performance of 12385 MB/s and a write performance of 11825 MB/s. Incidentally, the usable capacity of the Crucial T705 M.2TB is 1863.01 GB.
