In this review we have tested the Alpha PAL 6035 N2/GH Cooler and measured the temperature results with our test setup. Additionally you can listen to an embedded MP3 fan sound sample of the fan on the respective heatsink.
Name | Alpha PAL 6035 with 5600 rpm (612 N2/GH) Papst fan * |
Size over all L/B/H | +++ 60/65/67 mm The heatsink size isn’t bigger than the Sockel. |
Cooling output | +++ 27 CFM (~5600 rpm – * also with other fans available) |
Noise level | – 38 dB (A) Not so loud as the N2/GH version but not even very quiet. Listen to the sound: |
Mounting | +++ It’s very easy to fit this fan without screwdriver or anything else. |
Cooling results | +++ The Alpha PAL 6035 convinced with 41° C (44°C at 1,9 Vcore). Don’t mount the fan blowing to the heatsink the results would be about one degree higher. |
General impression | +++ After one or two minutes assembly you get a very good fan with top cooling results. Because of the high rotation speed the fan is much louder than the NGML Papst fan. It’s also possible to use this fan for Intel FCPGA CPU and there’s also an english mounting guide included. This fan is also fit for using with Peltier Element ! |
