In this review we have tested the AVGS CA-1000 Cooler and measured the temperature results with our test setup. Additionally you can listen to an embedded MP3 fan sound sample of the fan on the respective heatsink.

Mounting | ++ The bracket looks like the one of a Global WIN cooler. Not much locking but very easy to mount and unmount with a screwdriver. |
Cooling results | ++ 45° C at 1,75 Volt CPU-corevoltage and 48° Celsius at 1,90 Volt. |
General impression |
++ The CA 1000 have a copper base and alu ribs. This combination could perform miracles with a little bit higher fan troughput. That’s the reason why this cooler is now also available with better fans 🙂 But also with this fan the result could show one’s face and is more than good enough for an overclocked 1,33 GHz Thunderbird ! Great work and looks nice. This cooler is also fit for using with Peltier Element ! Many thanks to AVGS Technology for the AVGS CA1000 Testsample. Pictures … |
