In this review we have tested the Global Win FOP 38 Cooler and measured the temperature results with our test setup. Additionally you can listen to an embedded MP3 fan sound sample of the fan on the respective heatsink.

Size over all L/B/H	++ 70/70/67 mm It’s possible that you get trouble to mount this fan on some mainboards with less space between socket and eg. tall capacitors.

Noise level	— 46 dB (A) The noise is just bearable with loud music and closed PC case. But not as loud as a hoover 🙂 Listen to the sound:
Mounting	++ It isn’t very hard to mount the fan with a screwdriver but i’ve seen several easier constructions before.
Cooling results	++++ With 40° Celsius at 1,75 volt and 43° C at 1,90 core voltage is the cooling result one of the best and nearly the same like Alpha PAL 6035 with N2/GHH.
General impression	+++ This FOP 38 turbine is a highend fan and heatsink combination with high cooling output of 37 CFM but therefore also as much noisy. With good case insulation it’s possible to get a quiet fan with best cooling results. You can order this fan cheap at Frozen-Silicon ! This fan is also fit for using with Peltier Element !
