First we have installed the OCZ Vector 180 480 GB SSD and wanted to find out if the installation of the mobile rack adversely affect the performance. The benchmarks were performed with the program CrystalDiskMark v5.0.2. 64 bit.
It’s not difficult to recognize that the values are pretty good.
The subsequent measurement with direct connection on the mainboard confirmed this.
Regarding the temperature, we can give the green light at this point, …
… though the temperature rises during the read/write tests up to 38°C.
Despite the audible fan a significant temperature increase has been recorded. This is of course due to the compact construction but is still in a good level.
