After the previous ASRock B460 Steel Legend review we are testing today on OCinside.de the current ASRock H470 Steel Legend motherboard for Intel LGA1200 processors. How the H470 motherboard performed in comparison to its counterpart with Intel B460 chipset and if you can better overclock an Intel Core i5-10500 CPU with it, we show in the following review.
In this fancy box the ASRock H470 Steel Legend is delivered.
The back of the box shows several features such as 2.5 Gb/s LAN, Dual Ultra M.2, Nahimic 3D Audio, M.2 cooler and Polychrome RGB Connection and, unlike the B460 Steel Legend, depending on the CPU, support for Hyper M.2 via PCIe 4.0, but also USB 3.2 Gen2 support!
Let us now turn to the content. The box contains a manual, a DVD, two SATA data cables (angled and straight), four screws for the M.2 sockets, two M.2 spacers and an ATX I/O panel. Further USB slot covers or an ASRock USB 3.1 front panel are optionally available.
Also included is a cover with the velcro cable ties and the Steel Legend stickers from ASRock.
Like many high-quality ASRock motherboards, the H470 Steel Legend was also encased in foam for safe transport.
And this is what the new ASRock H470 Steel Legend motherboard looks like.
