Let’s take a look at the accessories that can be purchased for this keyboard. Oops, what’s happened here? The intern has mixed up the pictures. Or maybe even more? 😉
SteelSeries PrismCaps Double Shot PBT Keycaps …
As we have already seen, these are of course so-called KeyCaps in a very special design. We would like to present two of these today. These are the Prismcaps Double Shot PBT Keycaps in the so-called Pudding Design.
The highlight is that the caps still have a milky body, to which a black or white layer is only applied to the upper third. This creates a brighter lighting effect and therefore a better look.
The caps are supplied in vacuum-packed bags so that they stay fresh for longer 😉
After unpacking, it looks a little as if we have a set of terminal blocks in front of us. However, the set contains considerably more caps than we need for our TKL version. This is due to the fact that it is a universal set that can also be used for the full-size models. Even the special features of other manufacturers have been taken into account, so the caps can also be used here. You can see the compatibility list here under Compatibility.
A cap puller is also included and makes changing the caps much easier. This is what the whole keyboard looks like with the white caps. It would have a more appealing effect if the housing of the keyboard were also white. As far as we know, however, the Apex Pro TLK Wireless is currently only available in black.
Of course, you can also try out a few variations here.

Clearly the visual winner for us! Anyone who would like to can write to us in the forum post about what they like best.
In our eyes, they simply create a harmonious overall picture and go well with the black housing of the keyboard. But now let’s move on to installing the software and using the keyboard.
