Introduction – When you want more than just Full HD …
FHD vs WQHD vs UHD / 4K. Inexpensive gaming monitors are often found in the Full HD panel segment, as the lower number of pixels means that the reject rate in display production is significantly lower, which has a positive effect on the price. However, a resolution of “only” 1920×1080 pixels with a screen diagonal of 27″ (almost 70 cm) is usually no longer ideal and the individual pixels are already quite large. A 4K monitor with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels is great, but can also be less than ideal as a gaming monitor. Because if you don’t have a high-end gaming PC, you probably won’t set the resolution to full 4K for many triple-A games. This means that the image has to be scaled, which results in a further loss of quality. WQHD often seems to be a good middle ground here. With 1.77 times the number of pixels compared to a Full HD monitor, the WQHD resolution offers a more detailed picture without the gaming computer having to struggle with the full 4K resolution.
The delivery of the Titan Army P27GR Monitors …
The Titan Army P27GR comes in a sturdy cardboard box with discreet lettering and a picture of the device.
Inside, the monitor itself and the few accessories are packed in typical two-piece polystyrene packaging.
The top section contains the two parts of the monitor stand, a 12V power supply unit, a quick start guide and a Displayport cable.
The monitor itself is located under the polystyrene lid in another soft plastic bag and is therefore well protected for transportation. The display itself is not further protected with a film. Nevertheless, there were no scratches or damage.
Next, let’s take a look at the technical data.
