Result and general impression …
Users of the HA1 from Tozo don’t have to worry about battery life and can easily charge the headset within a short time after a long working week or several nights of gaming. The ability to manage EQ profiles and share them with the community via the in-house app also stands out.
On the other hand, the construction of the model is light, but not as robust as some competitor models with a higher metal content. The somewhat tight earpieces on the sides of both ear cups are also annoying. Whether the headset fits well depends very much on the individual.
If we assume the standard tuning of the drivers, the music seems a little boring when it comes to music with a higher digital content. On the other hand, live music of some dimensions can be reproduced dynamically. This speaks for slightly more sound pressure in the mid-frequency spectrum compared to other solutions. No miracles should be expected in terms of detail resolution and stage design.
Due to these factors, the use of EQ profiles is definitely recommended, although this does not automatically make every song more brilliant. The HA1 Bluetooth headset will not be able to credibly reproduce an orchestra in classical music.
Overall, the focus of the Tozo HA1 is on secondary criteria that improve the use of the headset, while the actual music experience is average. Positive features such as the gaming mode to reduce latency and ENC to improve call quality should be mentioned here.
