Introduction – Ugreen’s new market

Ugreen is completely new to the NAS (Network Attached Storage) market. The manufacturer is confidently entering the market with six different devices. The devices cover different use cases, from the consumer to the professional sector. The hardware makes an excellent impression on paper and does not need to hide behind well-known NAS manufacturers such as QNAP and Synology and could even be operated with alternative operating systems.

The delivery of the Ugreen NASync DXP2800 …

The hardware comes in an outer packaging …

… which again contains the actual box.

Classic applications for the NAS are listed on the back as well as the MAC address and serial number …

… and on the side the hardware specifications.

The contents themselves are densely packed …

… and well upholstered.

Next to the NAS is a long cardboard box and a small envelope.

When you unpack everything, you will find the device including the power supply unit itself, a manual, warranty card and the user instructions. There is also a CAT 7 cable, a small screwdriver, screws and two small tools to lock the bays.

Now let’s move on to the technical details.
