AMD Duron 700 Overclocking Results
Here are some AMD Duron 700 overclocking results.
Compare to the normal AMD Duron 700 values:
CPU Frequency | FSB/MB | Multiplier | Vcore | VIO | CPU Temp. |
700 MHZ | 100/200 MHz | 7x | 1,6 Volt | 3,56 Volt | ~ 38-45°C |
Here are my results of the Duron 700 CPU on Asus A7V mainboard:
Result | FSB/MB | Multiplier | Vcore | VIO | CPU Temp. |
1066 MHZ | 101/202 MHz | 10,5x | 1,85 Volt | 3,56 Volt | ~ 47-53°C |
Asus A7V with Duron 700 and Golden Orb fan:
There’s just one little problem at this time. I can’t close the PC-case without a seperate case fan because the cpu becomes to hot for a stable system. The highest CPU temperature was about 60° Celsius with a closed PC case.
The reason may be the power supply with only one fan in the small case and this isn’t enough for such a big cpu fan.
But i think things could be worse than a pc with an open case and for this cpu price it’s a very good result at all.
UPDATE: Since i’ve installed all small case fan and the Alpha PAL 6035 CPU fan i can close my PC case with lower CPU temperature.
